DESCRIPTION:

Originally an elaborate underground Aeroporos city, after Humanity’s discovery of Stalbez, Obslope was colonized by the ISSC and converted into a mineral mining operation. The mine later changed hands three times after the fall of the ISSC from the Æntezi Empire to the NTF and finally the Sovkós Union (after the Neperk Revolution). The Sovkós Union, seeking to strengthen community and unity with the Aeroporos, refitted the mine to its original purpose. The Sovkós Union took no shortcuts, undertaking its first massive civic works project to make Obslope a habital city for the native Aeroporos once again. The renewed Obslope was given to the Aeoroporos and was allowed to operate independantly from the greater Sovkós commonwealth, though the Aeroporos (strong allies to the unionist cause) has chosen to work in close partnership with the Sovkós.

Obslope is home to the largest Aeroporos population in Deadstar, once a species in danger of losing their natural habitat, Obslope has provided hope for their future. The Aeroporos have managed to scale their traditional practices to meet the demands of the greater Stalbez population. The main industry in Obslope is fishing and traditional art production. Though the city provides the means to export Aeroporos products, the council maintains tight constraints on the output of fish and other exports in an effort to preserve the health of the surrounding environment.
