The Aeroporos or “Wooly Hopper” are a nomadic species indigenous to the frigid surface of Stalbez, Lau-Tem Pála’s only moon. The most intelligent of the surface-dwelling native species of Stalbez, the Aeroporos live in small communities and dwell in massive ice caves. Despite their cuddly appearance, the Aeroporos are strong survivalists who show fierce loyalty to their comrades.

The Aeroporos have spent the majority of their evolution isolated from the intelligent aquatic society of Ogyr that thrive beneath the surface of their icy domain. 

Typically covered in a thick brown pelt, only parts of the Aeroporos dark blubbery skin are ever visible. They tend to be short in stature, the tallest Aeroporos might only reach the hip of an average human. A long beak used for fishing and defense stretches out far beyond their face, and behind it, a large crown of colorful feathers entices mates and intimidates would-be predators.
