THE OPERATOR
Strategic, capable, prepared. An Operator is a deadly weapon, capable of bending the battlefield to their will.
OPERATOR PERKS
(Obtained at levels one, two, four, six, eight, and ten)
LEVEL ONE
EVASIVE MANEUVERS:
The Operator may take certain major actions as minor actions. These actions are: TAKE COVER, SPRINT, and DISENGAGE.
EXPERTISE:
At level 1, the Operator chooses a statistic between aptitude, perception, or reflex to become their Expert statistic. The Operator rolls their Expert modifier twice on associated Tests and Resists, combining the totals.
LEVEL TWO
CHOOSE A SPECIALIZATION
SPY
SHADOW:
The Spy may HIDE as an Evasive Maneuver.
KILLER
LETHALITY:
When the Killer attacks from COVER they Gain The Edge.
TACTICIAN
DIRECT:
The Tactician may use a minor action to have an ally within line of sight take an Evasive Maneuver.
LEVEL FOUR
CHOOSE ONE OF THE FOLLOWING PERKS
DYNAMIC COVER:
The Operator may use their Expert modifier on rolls to reduce damage when unarmored rather than endurance.
SWIFT:
When the Operator RALLIES, they may take an additional minor action on their turn.
WEAPON EXPERT:
The Operator gains the Trained status in a weapon Suite of their choice (Ballistic, Energy, Martial, or Explosives) and acquires two (2) Combat Styles.
CALCULATED RISK:
The Operator may use Gambit (see Brain).
NIMBLE FINGERS:
The Operator may use an Implement [IT] or Rig as an Evasive Maneuver.
LEVEL SIX
OBTAIN SPECIALIZATION PERK
SPY
UNDERCOVER:
When the Spy is Hidden they are imperceptible to electronic visual feeds (ie. cameras, bots, and drones). In addition, the Spy may use their reflex modifier in place of strength when performing a TAKEDOWN.
KILLER
ASSASSINATE:
When the Killer rolls a twenty-five (25) or higher on an attack roll, the attack is a CRITICAL HIT.
TACTICIAN
COMMAND:
The Tactician may use their reaction to have an ally within line of sight make an attack as a reaction. When they do, the Tactician may add their aptitude modifier to the attack roll. In addition, they may Direct as a reaction.
LEVEL EIGHT
CHOOSE ONE OF THE FOLLOWING PERKS
OUTMANEUVER:
When the Operator takes an Evasive Maneuver, they may use their reaction to make an attack. In addition, when the Operator SPRINTS, all attacks targeting them Lose the Edge until the end of their next turn.
ON ALERT:
When the Operator uses their reaction, they may take an Evasive Maneuver as a free action (either before or after the reaction).
UNMATCHED:
The Operator rolls their Expert modifier three (3) times on associated Tests and Resists, combining the totals.
LEVEL TEN
OBTAIN PRESTIGE SPECIALIZATION PERK
SPY
GHOST:
Any successful attack the Spy makes while Hidden is a CRITICAL HIT. In addition, on a successful reflex Test, attacking while Hiding does not end the status.
KILLER
REAPER:
The Killer may make an attack as an Evasive Maneuver.
TACTICIAN
MASTERMIND:
When the Tactician uses Direct or Command, they may have two (2) additional allies within line of sight take Evasive Maneuvers.
