Simian were the first, and most successful human-animal hybrid created by the Human Verity Project (HVP). Now a successful self-populating species, the Simian are a cross between human and primate DNA.

After serving as the proof of concept for HVP’s genetic splicing tech, the Simian became test subjects for future HVP biotech. For years, all living Simian were held in captivity within MORC laboratories, where they underwent grueling experimental medical procedures.  Inspired by the Nepzerk Revolution, a group of rebellious Simians fought back against their human captors, leading to the Simian Uprising.

While their minds are structurally identical, Simians share few physical traits with humans. Often appearing like the primate from which their DNA was sampled, Simians resemble Earth apes and monkeys.
