DESCRIPTION:

The Lovenaut Collective (formerly the “Freedom Union of Carefree Kindness”) was founded during the height of the Kørtisian conflict. First a counter-cultural movement which arose in response to the war, Lovenauts’ founding principle was their opposition to the violence perpetrated by the Nouvieux Trade Federation.

The group was formed primarily by Æntezian and Gärbo diaspora, who had fled their respective civs to dodge the Kørtisian draft. Members of the Anarchist group were outspoken critics of the militarization of corporations and the expansionist policies of Æntez and the NTF. The group first attempted to make a home on Stalbez in the form of a commune and mutual aid collective, but the unforgiving terrain and their antagonization of the Stalbez Mining Company forced them to flee.

In an attempt to build a future free of war and full of love, the Lovenaut Collective sought a new home in the form of the then derelict, Phirnaut Rest Stop and Star Station (a once thriving starport which lay abandoned in the wake of the “Spacer Golden Age”).
