Hailing from the prosperous planet of Halkohm, the Cepin are trade-oriented, bartering as collectives to trade in galactic markets with their governing bodies acting as representatives.
Cepin have the ability to mimic other creatures. They may alter their vocal chords, mix and layer their skin pigments, and even manipulate their muscular and skeletal structures to appear however they choose. As complete social chameleons, the Cepin are natural peacekeepers, assets for espionage, social climbers, and entertainers.
In their natural form, Cepin are typically a shade of blue-green. Across their body they display a smattering of complex and shifting opaque pigment patterns lying just beneath the surface of their semi-transparent skin. Cepin are born without distinct gender markers, as a result: within Cepin society individuals do not typically identify with a gender, though, to assimilate, Cepins who integrate into foreign societies often adopt the roles of their host civilization.
