Ryza is one of the largest corporations in Deadstar, a multi-civ conglomerate that owns or controls nearly every major healthcare and pharmaceutical developer and distributer in NTF territory.

Originally founded on Earth before the launch of ISSC Arc, Ryza was responsible for the creation and supply of the cryonic technology necessary for the Human voyage to Deadstar. After the fall of the ISSC, Ryza (along with other private companies) sought security in an increasingly tumultuous system. MORC (Mobile Orbital Research Center) was established to facilitate scientific research and development for private interest. MORC’s autonomy from Human on-world settlements would shield private interest from the strains of conflict (in theory).

Today, Ryza controls nearly fifty percent of the laboratories and production facilities on MORC, making it the largest private scientific institution in the Deadstar system.
