DESCRIPTION:

Junk-Punks are a type of petty criminal found throughout Deadstar. Connected only by their shared anti-authoritarian ethos and tactics, individual Junk-Punk cells are typically completely unconnected from one another.

Defined by their lack of recognition of formal authority, Junk-Punks target private corporations, governments, and political agencies. Junk-Punks are often either highly skilled wurlaks specialized in infiltrating digital networks to conduct espionage, swipe data, and otherwise cause disruption or techies who steal and scavenge military equipment to modify, sell, and utilize in anti-authoritarian action.

Though specific Junk-Punk have been known to collaborate with Auskrieg in the past, Auskrieg maintains itself as a distinct faction. While Junk-Punks share idealogical cross-over with the Auskrieg collective, their tactics, involvement with organized crime, profiteerism, and lack of clear political goals separate the groups.
