DESCRIPTION:

The Galactic Order is the coalition of billions of individual cultures and societies across the Universe. Divisions of the massive organization comprise councils which represent the interests of individual societies and planetary systems. The Galactic Order is divided into Galactic Sectors, essential proximal collections of societies within a Galaxy wherein the council acts somewhat autonomously from the greater Galactic Order. 

The Galactic Order's stated goal is maintaining equity and liberty amongst sovereign societies across the universe. Entrance admission into the Galactic Order is rigorous and requires a civ, collection of civs, or planetary-system-spanning society to demonstrate an alignment with Galactic Order values. While the exact criteria of entrance is unknown, some can be extrapolated via examining the values of those who have been refused entry. Devastation of life, imperialism, slavery, mass exploitation, etc. seem to be amongst the disqualifying characteristics a society may possess.

Upon the completion of the Humanity’s first deep-space FTL port, Wessex, in 3045, the Galactic Order made initial contact with Deadstar Humans. Representatives of the Pexylocotia Division of The Galactic Order informed Human representatives of Wessek that Deadstar would be quarantined from the rest of the galaxy and Humans would be restricted from exiting. The Galactic Order cited Humanity’s imperialist domination of indigenous species and societies of Deadstar as well as Humanity’s aid of the Bek as reasons the council was forced to quarantine the system. The Galactic Order has stated that only until significant prolonged change has proved Humanity does not represent a threat to the sovereignty and safety of the greater Universe, would the quarantine be removed. 

As of 3149, the Galactic Order maintains a quarantine around the Deadstar (Adonai) system, preventing and/or severely restricting all travel into or out of the system. Though Humanity on a large scale has failed to make significant improvements to their society, the Sovkós Union has been successful in opening a firm line of communication and partnership with the Pexylocotia Division of the Galactic Order. The Sovkós Union has achieved limited importation/exportation and travel privileges for Humans. Indigenous species of Deadstar experience fewer restrictions on out-of-system travel from the Galactic Order.
