DESCRIPTION:

The Blatto Crime Family is an organized crime syndicate operating in Deadstar’s neutral territories. The Blatto Family conducts most of its business from their headquarters on the moon of Uylé, though minor satellite operations have been found as far as Phirnaut and Kørt.

Originally forming in the kochamaroach ghettos on Chameiro following the first human war on Deadstar, the Blattos filled the role of a pseudo local government and unofficial police force, which in theory represented the interests of the disenfranchised kochamaroach population in cities like Felsbloc. With little oversight from the ISSC and few avenues for legitimate revenue, the Blattos found success in contraband and racketeering markets.

After the kochamaroch population relocated to Uylé, the Blatto Family expanded rapidly. In neutral territory, far from prying eyes and with a reputation as the entire system’s dumping ground, Uylé is a haven for organized crime.
